Raleigh’s own Erika Braun makes every lap count when it comes to swimming. Not only does she make waves with the Raleigh Area Masters and TAC Titans swim clubs, she also continues to compete with swimmers more than half her age with USA-Swimming. Erika currently holds 14 FINA Masters Swimming world records while swimming as a member of North Carolina Masters Swimming.
Erika is a Human Resources leader with a proven track record of success in compensation administration, rewards and recognition, performance management and employee engagement. Her expertise also includes recruiting, attracting and retaining the best talent by motivating and inspiring a highly engaged workforce. Since 2000, she spent nearly 20 years with Golden Corral Corporation most recently as Sr. Director of Human Resources. As a member of the extended leadership team, she held positions of continuously increased responsibility with a restaurant system of 470+ company and franchise locations employing over 34,000 team members. Erika currently works at Fleet Feet, Inc. as Sr. Director, Human Resources.

About
Erika Braun is a current multiple FINA Masters Swimming world record holder and two-Olympic Trials qualifier from Raleigh, North Carolina. In addition to her busy career as a Human Resources leader, she makes a splash in the swimming world. Now at age 48, Erika swims competitively in both U.S. Masters and USA-Swimming. In 1988, at the age of 16, Erika qualified for the U.S. Swimming Olympic Trials in the 50-meter freestyle. Twenty-four years later, she accomplished that same feat, joining the ranks of American swimming legends Dara Torres and Janet Evans.
